Als fotograaf ben ik altijd al geïnspireerd door de creërende mens, bouwend aan zijn eigen bestaan. Vanaf 2015 fotografeer ik Nacho’s wonderlijke wereld. Met regelmaat dwaal ik rond in zijn dreamscape, de ruimte waar zijn ideeën worden omgezet in objecten die lijken op levende organismen. Als een schaduw volg ik elke beweging en vang de spontane, echte momenten in beeld.

I like working with people within my close surroundings. Maarten understands the essence of my work and sees how the pieces grow. We work together with a certain goal, but the most important thing to us is being part of the process. Feeling the flow and catching the spontaneous moments in our way of working.
As a photographer, Maarten Coolen has always been inspired by the creative human being,building its own existence. In this photo series, Maarten invites you to wander around in Nacho’s dreamscape, the space where his ideas are transformed into objects like living organisms. The exhibition shows how photos and works merge in an outside environment.
